SPP High Impact Large Load voltage ride-through at the POI (Table 1): above 1.20 pu may ride through or trip; above 1.10 to 1.20 pu for 0.50 s; 0.90 to 1.10 pu continuous; 0.80 to below 0.90 pu for 2.00 s; 0.50 to below 0.80 pu for 0.50 s; below 0.50 pu for 0.15 s
0.90–1.10 pu continuous; 0.15 s below 0.50 puobserved
| Value kind | observed — Reported measurements, counts, and specifications keep the precision and scope stated by their source; an exact specification is not treated as a range. |

| Scope | A HILL is a new commercial or industrial load, or an increase, at a single site behind shared POIs or delivery points: at least 10 MW at 69 kV or below, or at least 50 MW above 69 kV. The requirements apply to requests on or after RR696's effective date of 2026-01-15; earlier requests need reasonable efforts within the facility's capabilities. Power-electronic and variable-speed-drive HILLs keep drawing from the grid, reducing power in proportion to voltage in the 0.5–0.8 pu region under constant-current control with current limiting; constant-power control is prohibited during disturbances. Below 0.5 pu the load may transfer fully to UPS or trip, and at least 90% of grid consumption must return within 1 s after voltage recovers to 0.9 pu. Verify the edition bound into the site interconnection agreement. |
