CDU heat-exchanger approach (FWS→TCS) as a design allowance; the OCP Project Deschutes 1.0.0 specification targets a 3 °C approach at 2,000 kW

~3–5 °Crecommendation

Value kindrecommendation — Recommendations are design guidance, not measured facts; validate them against the project boundary conditions.
ScopeThe ~3–5 °C range is the guide's L2L design allowance. Project Deschutes 1.0.0 targets 3 °C at 2,000 kW and 500 GPM on each side (26 February 2026, §5.3). Vertiv's row-based CoolChip CDU 350 is L2A: its March 2025 rating is 350 kW at 15 °C ATD against 27 °C room air. Compare L2L quotes at the same FWS/TCS duty; compare L2A quotes against their room-air condition.
